Enrichment & Extra-Curricular Opportunities
At Healing Primary Academy, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment program offers a rich variety of extra-curricular opportunities designed to build confidence, inspire new passions, and ensure there is truly something for everyone.
After-School Clubs

Our after-school club timetable changes from term to term to offer pupils a diverse mix of physical, performing arts, creative, and seasonal activities throughout the academic year.
What We Offer
-
Free Sports Clubs: Run by our dedicated PE coach, Miss Raithby, we offer a wide range of free sports clubs across the year to keep children active, healthy, and engaged in teamwork.
-
Performing Arts & Dance: Expressive Musical Theatre and Dance clubs where pupils can build performance skills, rhythm, and self-confidence.
-
Arts & Crafts Clubs: Hands-on creative sessions where children can explore drawing, painting, model-making, and imaginative design.
-
Seasonal & Outdoor Clubs: Specialised activities tailored to the time of year, including our popular Gardening Club, and festive seasonal workshops.
-
External Providers: We work alongside specialist external providers who bring expert-led workshops and activities directly into school for our pupils.
School Trips & Educational Visits

We firmly believe that first-hand experiences bring learning to life. From Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2, educational visits and outdoor learning are an integral part of our curriculum.
-
Trips for All Ages: Educational trips and visits are offered to all children from Foundation Stage upwards, giving every pupil regular opportunities to learn beyond the classroom.
-
Year 5 & Year 6 Residentials: Our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils have the exciting opportunity to go on a residential school trip, fostering independence, teamwork, and lifelong memories.
-
We are extremely grateful to The Friends and Family of Healing Primary Academy, who generously provide annual financial support toward transport costs, keeping costs down for our families.
