🌟 Celebrating Our KS2 Pupils’ Amazing Fundraising Success! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of a group of nine dedicated KS2 pupils who have shown true teamwork, community spirit, and determination over the summer holidays. Together, they raised an outstanding £2,500 for St Andrew’s Hospice – a cause very close to many of our hearts.

These pupils gave up their free time to organise and take part in a range of fundraising activities, including:

Their hard work, creativity, and kindness are an inspiration to us all. Not only have they raised an incredible amount for charity, but they have also made a positive difference within our community.

A huge well done and thank you to our pupils for showing such generosity and dedication – you are all shining examples of what can be achieved through teamwork and determination. 💙

We would like to introduce Delilah who works for Therapy Dogs Nationwide and will be attending Healing Primary Academy each Friday as part of the TDN read to my dog scheme. This is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils and we are very grateful to Delilah’s owner Karen for agreeing to visit each week.

The school office will be sending out a google form shortly to gain parental permission for your child to interact with Delilah.

We’re thrilled to announce that Harbour Learning Trust have been shortlisted for the Times Educational Supplement(TES) Inclusive Trust of the Year Award 2025!
This recognition reflects our deep rooted belief that inclusion is not an initiative -it’s part of who we are.
Across our schools, we nurture environments where every child feels a sense of belonging, where joy is found in learning, and where ambition is encouraged, no matter what the starting point. Our teams go above and beyond to provide tailored, adaptive support , ensuring every learner is empowered to grow and suceed in their own way.
From growing SEND hubs and Specialist Resource Provision to responsive transition support and compassionate everyday practice, inclusion runs through every aspect of our trust. Our staff, families and wider community work together to ensure every child is seen, valued, and equipped for a successful, happy future.
This shortlisting is a tribute to our incredible SENDcos, Principals, teachers, TAs, support staff, and school communities – you are at the heart of what makes Harbour a special place.
We’ll keep striving, learning, and celebrating each step forward – because inclusion is our shared journey.

Our school cook, Mrs Haxby, came to teach us how to chop and grate our food safely for our Design Technology project. She taught us how to make tzatziki by preparing all the ingredients carefully. We used the skills Mrs Haxby taught us to chop and grate the ingredients needed to make our own Greek food.
