Pastoral Support in School
At Healing Primary Academy, we have a pastoral/wellbeing room called The Rainbow Room. The Rainbow Room can be accessed by pupils and is a calm space. The room is intended as a safe space for pupils who may be finding it difficult to regulate their emotions and/or struggling with their wellbeing. The Rainbow Room is an ideal environment for pastoral interventions to take place in, either in a small group or on a 1:1 basis.
At Healing Primary Academy, we are proud to offer a range of pastoral interventions, as an initial step, in supporting pupil’s wellbeing. Below are some of the interventions we offer:
– Understanding Myself
– Friendship Club
– Let’s Chill
– I am and I can
– Inside Out
